Hotel Silver Oaks Inn Mathura

For our family trip, we booked 5 rooms, and they managed to put all of us on the same floor. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff polite and prompt, and the service excellent. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

I’ve never had a worse hotel stay. The room was filthy, with lizards and ants crawling around, and the bathroom taps were dirty and uneven. I’d give it a minus rating if that were possible, but 1 star was the minimum.

The room had cracks in the walls, peeling paint, dust everywhere, a noisy AC, and a very small bed. The comforter had lipstick marks, the towels were dusty, and there were no clean surfaces. For 1350 rupees, I found the condition awful. The sink tap was broken, and someone had stuffed cloth inside it to limit how far it turned. There was renovation going on when we checked in, which we could tolerate, as well as the poor locality and lack of food nearby. But the overall lack of cleanliness and upkeep made this one of my worst hotel experiences. We came from new bus stand mathura by tuk tuk. Please don’t check in. Thanks if this review helps.

The staff were very good and the location was nice, but there was a lot of noise coming into the rooms since they weren’t noise proof. The rooms themselves were good, though the bathroom taps were in bad shape. There’s no elevator, so avoid this place if you’re not healthy or are travelling with elderly people.
