SKS Grand Palace

The breakfast was a letdown: it was overly salty and lacked flavor, there were no Bengali options, and finished dishes weren’t replenished. They served water and juice in paper cups, and even basic items like forks were missing from the buffet. We also found the room arrangements cramped. We booked two rooms for four adults and one child, but the rooms felt very small and uncomfortable. Checkout was strictly at 11 am, and we were charged ₹1,000 for just one extra hour, which seemed unreasonable. We chose the hotel based on positive Google reviews and booked through Cleartrip. It looks attractive from outside, but the interiors are poorly maintained. This wasn’t what I expected from a 4 star property.

The peaceful atmosphere made it a relaxing place for our family of four, and the location gave us easy access to Mathura’s main attractions. We spent four nights at Hotel SKS Grand Palace in the Family Suite, with two spacious bedrooms and a well maintained bathroom. Everything was large, clean, comfortable, and hygienic. We ordered food several times. It arrived hot and fresh, the room service was prompt, and we really enjoyed the quality and taste. The staff and management were polite, courteous, and ready to help throughout, so we felt welcome and cared for. We had a pleasant, memorable stay. I’d recommend Hotel SKS Grand Palace, especially for families or groups looking for clean rooms, friendly service, and good food.

We had a good stay, with polite staff, good service, and very good food. A few things could use attention: some rooms have bathroom drains that clog because the floor slope seems wrong, and you can hear people talking in the corridor. The rooms are clean, but the windows need cleaning too, as there are spiderwebs and insects nearby.

The location worked well, very close to Central Train Station, and the reception team were helpful with directions as well as check-in and checkout. Our room was spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast had lots of choice across a wide buffet, and it was delicious. I’d recommend it to friends and would stay again if I’m back in Mathura-Vrindavan.
