I called ahead to confirm a room was available, but when I went in person, reception quoted ₹3000 per room. The staff behaved very poorly and seemed focused only on the money. The hotel is no good and feels like a rip-off.

They call it Ananda bhavan A/C, but there was no AC. I ordered paneer dosa and the paneer was really hard, and didn’t seem fresh. I reported it, but got no proper response.

The staff were polite and helpful the whole time, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and hygienic too. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back.

The poor hygiene made the stay really uncomfortable. Our room wasn’t clean and had a terrible smell. Extremely disappointing, and definitely not worth the money.

The building looked good from outside, but inside the experience was awful. Our room smelled like a liquor shop and smoking zone, leaving everyone in the family uncomfortable and nauseous. Even after asking several times, they didn’t clean the room or bathroom properly, and there was no hot water in the morning. We’d booked a room with an extra bed for ₹2500, but when we arrived after 11 PM, staff said none were available. They made us take a suite for ₹3000, after first asking for ₹3500. We were with family and had no other option, so it felt like they took advantage of the situation. Would never recommend this place.
