Hotel Maya Palace

We had to keep following up for room service, and even after we handed over the key in the morning for cleaning, the room still wasn't done when we came back. We waited nearly an hour. At checkout, they also tried to charge us for the water bottles, even though we were told at check-in that two per day were complimentary. The lady boss spoke rudely to us and to the staff. Not recommended.

The location isn't suitable for taking family, and once they'd taken our booking and payment, getting any service or even a proper response was difficult. Towels were hard to get, and room orders only seemed to arrive when staff felt like bringing them. Otherwise, they'd make some excuse. The service and staff behavior were terrible, especially the receptionists' words and manner.

The room was good, and the hotel is close to polo ground. The hot and cold AC is a real plus in winter. Took off one star because the TV kept having some kind of problem.

Really liked the location near gurudwara, and I'd love to come back. Room service was good too, and the staff were very nice. Mr. devraj was especially helpful. Good experience overall, definitely worth a visit.
