There are plenty of dormitories in Mumbai with better facilities for less money, so I'd tell women who need privacy to look elsewhere. I arrived at 9 pm, but was told to check out at 11 am, and I hadn't even had a bath. The staff were extremely rude, and when I asked for a receipt they argued with me. After a struggle, they handed me a small scrap of paper that wasn't a receipt. I'm South Indian, and they didn't treat me like a guest. There was no fan inside, and the AC was only turned on at night, so I was sweating. People kept kicking my bags to move them out of the way to the toilet. There were no bag lockers, nowhere to leave wet clothes, and no washing machine. Laundry was 60 rupees for a single item. I couldn't find any good restaurants nearby either. I've stayed in other dormitories and never had an experience this bad.

The bed was really comfortable, and the price was budget friendly. It's a lovely, welcoming place in a good, accessible location. Thanks for the hospitality.

When I tried to leave at 2 AM, nobody was at reception, so I had to find another place nearby. I couldn't stand the pain and discomfort from the bugs in the beds. I ended up with painful rashes on my neck, arms, hip, and foot. There were bed bugs, mites, and other insects, and it was impossible to get a proper night's sleep. The hygiene was awful too. They hadn't changed the sheets or pillow covers after the previous guest, and I found someone else's hair on the sheet. Spend a little more on a decent hotel or dorm. Your health and well-being are worth it.

Gulshan Bhai, the owner, is very helpful and friendly, and gives extra care to women, so it felt safe for ladies. Belongings are under surveillance all the time too. The dorm has free unlimited Wi-Fi 24/7, a kitchen where you can get warm water and cook fast food, plus drinking water. If you're bored of your bunk, there's a space on the main porch to sit and have tea or a cigarette. It's a budget-friendly place in a prime spot for getting around, close to the metro and just a few minutes from T2 Airport. The rooms and washrooms are well kept. Still, despite pest control, bed bugs seem to have prime membership in every bunk bed, so frequent pest control is a must.

I spent one night there and couldn't sleep for even an hour because bugs kept biting me. The owners know about the insects and still don't do anything, and there aren't fans at every bed. I'd look for somewhere better, even if it costs 50-100 rs more. At least you'd get some sleep.
