The hotel's photos don't match what you actually get. None of the rooms looked good in person, and it didn't seem like even the so-called "select rooms" matched the pictures online. The whole thing felt deceptive, as if guests are expected to accept whatever they're given. Staff, from reception to the lift operator, were rude and arrogant. They acted as though acknowledging guests was a favour, and the way they spoke to us was unacceptable. There was no warmth, respect, or professionalism. Even the lobby felt suffocating: you couldn't talk there without someone glaring, and the place came across more like a strict hostel than a hotel. I've never had many hotel experiences this bad. I left disgusted and disrespected, and shocked that the place is still operating. I'd strongly advise people to avoid Chateau Windsor Hotel in Mumbai.

The location was very nice, and check-in was quick, though the staff seemed a little reserved and could have been more welcoming. The rooms were clean, but the bed was much too soft. There was no water kettle for tea, despite it being advertised, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. Breakfast felt like something from a youth hostel, and I had to eat standing up.

Service was good, but the hotel itself is basic for the price. They charged an extra 1000 Rs after saying too many things, and the reception staff were rude. They also asked for the kids' ID, and I'm not sure why. Parking space for cars is limited, and breakfast was basic too. All in all, a basic experience.

The food was simple, homely, and tasty, and the staff were very helpful and caring toward guests. It's an older hotel in a very good location, but the rooms were clean and well maintained. Service was high quality.
