FabExpress Orange Suites

The location was quite nice, the bathroom was fine apart from the smell, and the service was okay. But this was the worst place we've stayed in during our few weeks of low-budget travel in India, and it wasn't even the cheapest. The room smelled disgusting, as if someone had smoked in it. Staff seemed aware of the issue, but just sprayed air freshener, which only helped briefly. Our luggage now smells, and washing my hair four times with two different shampoos didn't get rid of it. The sheets and towels looked washed but had lots of stains.

At least the staff were polite, but I wouldn't recommend booking here. I had reserved a room with breakfast through the MMT app, and the room I got was completely different from the one pictured. The mattress and blanket were very old and unhygienic, the pillows smelled bad, the geyser didn't work, and the towels looked old and heavily used. There was no dental or bath kit. For two people they gave us only 1 liter of water, and breakfast was just one item, cold puri sabji. Staff also asked me to open WhatsApp and give them a 5-star rating, which wasn't acceptable.

The location is great, with the highway, metro, train and bus station all within walking distance. But the website photos look nothing like the actual rooms, where the paint is peeling and hygiene is questionable. There seems to be a serious fire hazard too: no fire escape, no windows, and the only exit is the distant entrance. If safety or cleanliness matters to you, think again.

The Wi-Fi doesn't work, and the service has been pathetic so far. We booked a premium room well in advance, but at check-in they said they'd completely forgotten we were coming and had given our room to someone else. The staff are very unprofessional.
