Hotel Bawa Suites, Khar

The room was roomy, comfortable, and spotless, with housekeeping doing a thorough job every day. Breakfast had lots to choose from and the service was first class. Georgio deserves a special mention for greeting me and checking whether I wanted anything prepared. During my two-week stay, the staff were always ready to help with a smile. I’m looking forward to coming back in six months.

Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the small fitness center and lounge were nice extras. My room had a decent bed, a clean bathroom, and reliable Wi-Fi. The decor looked dated and showed a little wear, though everything worked and housekeeping kept up with it daily. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The location made it easy to explore without being right in the middle of the bustle. It’s a comfortable, good-value place for a short or budget-conscious stay, as long as you aren’t expecting luxury.

We spent two days here and enjoyed them thoroughly. The restaurant food was a highlight, and the staff’s smiling faces made the stay feel welcoming. Service was great from reception and room service to the restaurant and even the bell desk. It’s a little pricey, but not too bad. Works for solo travelers, couples, and families. Happy to recommend it.

The service was good, and the onsite restaurant served good food. The room itself was another story. The bed was broken, the ceiling fan clicked as it spun, and water under the shower stall made the floor squishy. Cleanliness was only OK: the sheets had stains that hadn’t come out in the wash, and I found several hairs in the bed that weren’t mine. Mosquitoes in the room bit me badly, so I slept poorly. The lobby looks refurbished, but the old rooms badly need renovation.
