The staff were consistently polite and helpful, and Mr. Isham and Mr. Saidul took especially good care of me. They were supportive throughout and made everything feel smooth and comfortable. I spent a week at Falcon Inn in Mumbai, where the calm atmosphere suited a longer stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It was a very pleasant experience, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It’s a family hotel and felt safe and comfortable, plus it’s an easy walk from mumbai central railway station. The rooms were clean, but very small. I booked a deluxe room with breakfast and found the meal disappointing, with hardly any choice and poor quality and quantity. I’d suggest booking without breakfast. If you can live with the room size, it may still work for you.

The dining area was clean and nice, and the view from this well-located hotel was great. My room and bathroom were both very neat and clean. The staff were understanding and very nice, the service was fast, and breakfast tasted good. I had a very nice experience at Falcon inn.

The bed was comfortable, the WiFi worked very well, and the location was handy for the metro and train station. We were in room 105 from 03/02 to 08/02, and left with mixed feelings. The hotel was painting the stairway and hallway during our stay, with no signs warning about wet paint. Our room was not cleaned during the five nights, and we weren’t offered fresh towels or bedding. The mattress cover was torn, and the duvet didn’t close at the bottom. There was a socket on only one side of the bed, so using the kettle or hair dryer by the mirror on the other side wasn’t possible. The hot water setup was a problem. The ‘geyser’ held only about 2 litres, so a hot shower from the shower head wasn’t possible. You had to use the bathroom bucket and a jug to wash manually. That’s common in India, but most hotels I’ve stayed at had heaters holding around 5 litres. Here, I couldn’t fill the bucket in one go and had to refill it several times. We booked a ‘deluxe double or twin’ and asked for two twin beds, but arrived to find one king size bed. Staff said the hotel had no twin rooms and that “twin means for two people, so you got one bed for two people”. I complained to Agoda, who confirmed the hotel doesn’t provide twin beds, and asked them to correct the listing so other customers wouldn’t be caught out. None of the bed sizes match the Agoda app descriptions. The ‘deluxe double or twin’, for example, is actually a king size bed. The listing says twin, but the hotel does not offer rooms with twin beds. For laundry, Shubham laundry is a good place about a 10 minute walk away. They washed, dried, and ironed our clothes for 25 rupees each, while the hotel charges 80 rupees per piece. The recently opened metro was easy to use, with English signs and only two platforms. Tickets cost us 10 to 30 rupees each.

I stayed for about 12 hours because my flight was at night, after arriving exhausted by bus from Shirdi around 6 a.m. and not having the energy to explore. I went along with the arrangements, but check-in was disappointing. The owner insisted on all 4000 rs upfront for a stay of only 15 hours. That seemed unbelievable to me, since I expect hotels to take 50 percent at check-in and the other 50 percent at checkout. After I paid by UPI, the owner stared at a staff member, who stared back, as if neither knew how to run a hotel. For the price, the small bathroom smelled filthy, and the room was unacceptable. A cup of tea cost 50 rs. We also found the area crowded with Muslim residents, which felt very odd to us. The room seemed to have been recently renovated to look good, but the photos on Google Maps were false. Avoid this place if you care about your money.
