Hotel Gulf

It's a wet toilet, so you have to go through the shower area to get to the toilet. I found it difficult to use and wasn't a fan of the washroom.

This hotel seems suited to travellers going to the Gulf. I wouldn't choose it for a stay, especially for business people or families.

We booked for two people in February 2024. There was a breakfast buffet with South Indian dishes, plus omelette, toast, and puri bhaji. Toiletries were provided for each guest. The hotel is within walking distance of Gateway of India, and travellers arriving from the airport can book a direct AC bus online. The rooms are cramped and have no windows. They come in different types, so if you've booked, ask about the different room versions available in your budget. The walls have wallpaper patches, and although the hotel has Wi-Fi, the TV had no active internet connection. Most guests were from Gulf Countries, which gave the place a good vibe if you're interested in mingling with people from different ethnic backgrounds.

The hotel looks beautiful and sits in the heart of Colaba, a tourist destination. The workers are friendly, which makes the atmosphere feel softer. The rooms weren't as clean as they should be, though, and the air conditioner was either too cold or too hot.
