Hotel Leafio Mumbai

The terrace breakfast is a lovely way to start the day, with fresh, healthy Indian and Continental food made right in front of you. Tea and coffee are available free around the clock, and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean with all the amenities. The staff are caring, courteous, professional, and always ready to help. This was such an affordable, comfortable, hospitable stay in Mumbai that I wish I could have stayed longer. The metro is just around the corner, too. When I come to India next year, I’ll definitely stay at Leafio again.

The location is handy, with a 7-Eleven nearby and several good restaurants within walking distance. But this stay was a major letdown compared with my visit about three years ago, when the rooms were clean and fairly new, the towels were in good shape, and the bathroom had no bad smell. The hotel now needs renovation and much better maintenance. The towels were torn and stained, and I found a cockroach inside the bath mat when I unfolded it. That was disturbing. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage while I showered, and rats ran above the ceiling, making loud noises. I reported the AC leaking water four times. Nothing was properly done, it wasn’t repaired, and nobody offered to move me to another room. Service was slow and mostly unresponsive. Only one female staff member seemed willing to communicate and help. The cleanliness has really declined. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and makes improvements. Overall, this was very disappointing. If you would like, I can also make a shorter version or a stronger/more direct version depending on the tone you prefer.

The rooms at Hotel Leafio Sakinaka are a little small, but clean, well kept, and fine for a short stay. The convenient location works well for airport access and the metro. The staff are what really stand out. Everyone I dealt with was polite, helpful, and quick to respond, and the team made sure I had what I needed from check-in through checkout. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch. A good budget-friendly choice if you want friendly staff and excellent service.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and room service was excellent. Everything was perfect. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.
