The hotel's central spot on Marine Drive makes it easy to get around Mumbai, and the bay view is lovely. It's clean throughout, quiet at night despite the location, and the rooms are comfortable and well kept, with the amenities you'd expect from a premium hotel. The interiors have classic charm, though a few parts could use modernization. It works well for solo travelers and families alike. The staff, from security and reception to housekeeping and the restaurant teams, were polite, friendly, attentive, and professional. Service was smooth, and they were understanding and cooperative in special situations. The food is generally very good, especially the Indian dishes, which have rich flavors and generous portions. Breakfast is tasty and satisfying too. The restaurants are expensive, but the quality, service, and views help justify it. The rooftop pool and bar are pleasant, with lovely evening views. From the moment you walk in, Hotel Marine Plaza feels like an established, well-run property. It made for a peaceful, comfortable stay and a memorable five-star experience. I'd recommend it for the service, cleanliness, and location.

Some of the bathrooms and furnishings feel dated and could do with renovation. On busy nights, noise from nearby bars or pubs may carry to rooms on the lower floors. Even so, Hotel Marine Plaza offers a practical mix of comfort, a central location, and sea views. I'd recommend it if you want to enjoy Mumbai's coastline and stay somewhere reliable. The hotel is right on Marine Drive, and many rooms have wide views of the Arabian Sea and the "Queen’s Necklace". The rooftop terrace or a sea-facing balcony is a great spot for sunrise or the nighttime skyline. Rooms are usually spacious, air-conditioned, and well appointed, with large windows. Guests often praise the cleanliness, bedding, and quiet atmosphere, making it a good base for business or leisure. There's a 24-hour multi-cuisine restaurant, Bayview, with a good variety of dishes, which is convenient after a day out or a late arrival. The outdoor rooftop-style pool and modest fitness centre are nice extras if you're staying in. Train stations, business hubs, and sights such as Colaba Causeway and Gateway of India are a short walk away, so getting around is easy.

I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to Hotel Marine Plaza next time I'm in Mumbai. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and my room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with all the amenities I could want. The food at all three restaurants was very good and nicely presented. I also loved the rooftop bar and pool, with its lovely view and atmosphere. The hotel is on Marine Drive, overlooking the bay, and the entrance and tasteful interiors give it the feel of a well-established place.

I had a great business trip here and would happily recommend it. The location made it very convenient to explore, and the service was quite good, though there is still a little room for improvement.
