The room had no ventilation and smelled stale, the AC didn’t work, and the TV was unreliable. The bedding was in bad shape too: the duvet cover was torn open along two edges, leaving the duvet uncovered, and the sheet had cigarette burns. The place looked nothing like the photos, and there was no advertised free breakfast or even a kettle for tea or coffee. We also had to keep asking for drinking water instead of having filtered water available. At 3 and 4 a.m. on the first night, slamming doors woke us. The next night, what sounded like firecrackers went off at 1 a.m. I found it concerning and potentially dangerous. When I asked, staff laughed and lied about the noise. Their laundry service returned our clothes wet, so we had to travel with damp things and will have to pay to get them cleaned again. The whole atmosphere was uncomfortable.

The staff and manager were rude, and I found them very shady. They didn’t provide any facilities or breakfast, and when I asked for hot water to drink, they refused. They also misbehaved with my mother. The rooms and bathrooms were very dirty and smelled awful. I’d tell people not to stay here, even for a night.

The staff made the place feel uncomfortable. Around 1 a.m., firecrackers went off in the hallway, followed by loud laughter, screaming, and banging that woke us. When things settled, I asked reception if everything was okay, but they shooed me away and wouldn’t explain. There was no free breakfast despite the ad, and the AC didn’t work. The duvet cover was ripped and the bedsheet had cigarette burns. The replacement sheets were torn and burnt as well. Laundry came back wet, and they didn’t return my laundry bag. When I asked about it, they giggled and said it was missing.

The neighborhood was quiet, but only a few minutes’ walk from the main busy road, market, and shops. That felt like a nice balance, calm without being too far from things. I had a great stay at N M hotel. The team were kind, friendly, and helpful, always around for questions, requests, or a chat. My room was spacious and nice, with a comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, TV, AC, and fan. The bathroom was great too. Thanks for the hospitality and service!
