I came to the girls’ dorm because I needed somewhere for a few hours and didn’t really have another option. Somehow the hostel grew on me, and it began to feel like a home away from home. The location is spot on, and the place feels safe, warm, and home-like. Cleanliness and hygiene are handled with real care, which puts you at ease. The people are fab, friendly, respectful, and easy to connect with. The owner, managers, and staff are super kind, especially Abul! If you want somewhere comfortable, well maintained, and genuinely welcoming, this hostel is worth it. I’m glad I found it.

The rooms are on the small side, with barely space to leave a bag, but the bathrooms were clean. There’s no air conditioning in the common areas, and parking is very limited. The hotel was hard to find because its sign is tiny. From the intersection, go down the small road where zaatar is. The Bandra location is very central, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

The rooms were clean and perfectly sufficient for what you’d expect for 10$, and it was really more than worth it. The cleaners and coworkers worked in harmony and were dedicated to helping. The owner and workers were so kind and helpful, especially Abul, the Angel without wings. I couldn’t manage to buy train tickets, and he took care of everything without hesitation or regret. Thank you guys, loved you.

I stayed long enough to know the problems weren’t a one-time thing. There were bed bugs throughout every dorm, enough to keep me from sleeping, and a large dead rat in my bag. Rats were also on the premises, often in the bathrooms. Mould caused people who’d stayed a while to have a terrible cough. CCTV cameras were in every room, and the owner can watch them and does. A few times I was changing and realized a camera was pointed directly at me. There were cameras just outside the bathroom too. I consider this illegal. It’s a shame because the place is otherwise well kept and the workers are really kind. The owner seems not to care about privacy. I’d give zero stars if not for the lovely manager Abul and the beautiful group of travelers I met.
