Nap Manor Hostels

I wish I’d booked more days at Nap Manor. I reserved just one night through Airbnb as a trial, thinking I could extend if I liked it, but it was fully booked afterward. I couldn’t find another place in Mumbai with the same comfort and vibe. It was my first time in a Zostel-style hostel, and as an introvert I had lots of questions about the bathrooms, cleanliness of the rooms and beds, and who stays there. The reception man was extremely polite and welcoming, which put me at ease straight away. The place was easy to reach, full of friendly travelers, and had a warm, youthful feel. Good food and people, clean spaces, plus lots of books, posters, travel guides, and solo traveler vibes. Last year it was one of the most pleasant, memorable parts of my Mumbai trip, and I genuinely wish I’d stayed longer.

I had a wonderful stay at Vaibhav’s hostel. It was comfortable and perfectly clean, the service was great, and the price felt absolutely worth it. The whole team was very professional. I’m especially grateful to Vaibhav for helping me find my taxi when I didn’t know where it was. Thanks to him, I reached the airport safely and got to Sri Lanka without any problem. I stayed at Nap Manor in Mumbai on Feb 7-8, and the dorm arrangements raised serious concerns for me. I booked a 4-bed dorm that wasn’t labeled as mixed, but found out on arrival that it was. That didn’t feel appropriate or safe for us. Staff said we should have called, even though there was no reason for us to doubt the listing, and offered no help finding another place or refunding us. At 4:30 a.m. we had to leave and search for hotels in Kurla and Bandra, but found none that felt suitable or safe. The unclear listing and lack of concern about safety made this a bad experience. I hope they clarify their listings and improve customer support. I wouldn’t recommend it to female travelers until these problems are addressed. I’m also left wondering what else might be missing from listings on platforms like Agoda. If something as basic as dorm type isn’t clear, what else might travelers, especially women, face? This made me question their integrity and the property’s safety for any traveler. I hope they take these concerns seriously.

The place was clean and safe, with a welcoming feel. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful, and accommodated all my requests to keep me comfortable throughout the stay. I had a great time here and the service was really good. I’d definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Mumbai!
