The traffic around OYO Banjara Mumbai could get distracting, and it was a problem that non-vegetarian food wasn't available. Still, I really enjoyed my stay and would come back. I liked being near pubs, good restaurants, and Sidhi Vinayak Template, which made my evening lovely. There was also a restaurant downstairs with tasty food at reasonable prices, and the room service was very good. Parking was convenient too.
The restaurant downstairs is a great option for vegetarians, with South Indian, north Indian, and continental dishes, and they can bring orders to your room. The rooms are spacious and room service is good. Siddhi Vinayak Temple is an easy walk away, and getting to the city centre is convenient. Finding the hotel itself can be tricky, though. I also had a lot of trouble with the WiFi even after they replaced the routers, although the staff tried to help.
It felt safe for women, and Siddhi Vinayak temple is very close by. The place is a little old but kept in good condition, and it accommodates guests from corporate companies. Food choices are extremely limited. The drinking water also often had an unpleasant smell.
I'm not happy with this place, and I won't be back. We booked for three, but were given a dirty mattress on the floor, and it was very hard. The bed in the room was hard too, and the room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. They also insist on keeping your key when you go out, which is a very strange rule.
If you're planning to attend the early morning Aarti, this is a handy place for an overnight stay, about a five minute walk from Siddhivinayak Temple. The room is small, but fine for one night, especially for the price. A decent option in Prabhadevi.
