I had an average stay, and the bed caused the biggest problem. It was so shallow that I strained my lower back and needed pain medication. Staff showed little empathy, though they did provide extra bedsheets, which were only mediocre quality. I noticed plenty of investment in the building, but not in the bedsheets. The back pain meant I missed most of the important wedding functions held at the same hotel. A couple of staff members were rude and didn't seem to have a solution for my request. BMC construction barricades and potholes right at the entrance also made it difficult to get in and out with luggage.

I love coming back here whenever I'm in Mumbai. It has the feel of the kind of hotel you'd stay in with your parents as a kid, and the service is lovely.
