Sai Palace Hotel

We stayed one night at Sai Palace hotel on 14th February 2026, and were happy with the hospitality and friendly approach. The rooms were good and relaxing, parking was available, and it's very close to Mumbai International Airport. The Reservation, Front office, Restaurant, and House Keeping teams were responsive and gave us good support. We'll keep coming back and recommend it to family and friends.

After our son's Baptism party on 11th Jan 20206, we found a major dent in our car door. When my husband raised it with the staff, they refused to take responsibility and were rude. Mr Jitesh, the manager, was discourteous and unhelpful. He kept telling us to go to the police station with a foul, rude expression. He also called my husband abusive and said his mouth smelled of alcohol. We'd booked a party in your banquet, and Sai palace serves alcohol, so does he say that to all guests who drink? If Jitesh has a problem with alcohol, I suggest he work at a veg restaurant. During the hour and a half argument, he acted arrogantly, like he owned sai palace, and said he'd trust his staff more than his guest and we could do whatever we wanted. He didn't apologise. When we returned the next day to complain, he went into hiding. The general manager assured us we'd get an apology. The baptism event in the basement was bad too. Sai palace used to be our go-to restaurant, and we'd held all our functions there, but now it feels like a place run by rude, arrogant managers. There were no sofa or chairs for the host in front of the backdrop. Our booking was until 3.30 pm, yet the manager started switching off the lights at 3. After family pictures, when we went to lunch, Mr.Rahul rolled his eyes because we were late getting our food. We'd booked a room so I could feed my newborn. While I was nursing, the receptionist asked me to check out. I asked for some time, then two minutes later Rahul came to the door in an arrogant way and told me to leave because I was 40 minutes past checkout. They hadn't told us the check-in and checkout times when we booked, and I thought we'd booked the room for a day, not just a few hours. We planned to hold my brother's roce at Sai palace. After this upsetting and insulting experience, our whole family will no longer book events or even visit the Sai palace restaurant.

Getting around was easy, with the metro just a two-minute walk away, and both check-in and checkout went smoothly. The staff were polite and efficient, and breakfast was included, with good choices available from 7 to 10 am. Our twin room wasn't very big, but it was cozy and arranged well. The warm colors made it feel inviting, and the washroom was clean and well kept. We had a lovely stay at Sai Palace Hotel.

The food and the way we were treated made this a terrible experience. The mutton tikka was very spicy, even for someone like me who regularly eats spicy food, and the pieces were hard and chewy. The malai kofta was extremely sweet, almost like kheer. We had also ordered chicken tikka, soups, and mocktails. When we raised the issue, a staff member called manager Mr Kailash, who was rude instead of acknowledging the problem. He said, “agar kahi aur meetha naa ho tau mai bill bhar dunga,” then insisted that it was supposed to be that sweet. I felt he was showing us attitude. I’ve never experienced such rude hospitality. Go to Sai Palace if you want to be insulted.
