Naresh and his team in the Indian restaurant were delightful, with fabulous food and service. Mala at the bar was charming too, a real asset. Breakfast had a great buffet selection and plenty of dishes to order, and everything tasted delicious, though service was very slow. The start of my stay was frustrating. I arrived with the hotel car at 11.45pm after a long flight, but didn’t get a room until 12.45AM because, they said, the previous guests had checked out late. When I asked whether I’d have had a room if I arrived at the 2 pm check-in time, they said of course. They reduced the price to compensate, but it was still annoying enough to mention. The first night, banging from workers building exhibition stands kept me awake all night and into late morning. Anjali at reception moved me to another room on the same floor, with the same view of the stands, just five doors away. The banging started again later in the week for another exhibition. My room was very cold, around 18 degrees and never above 20. The duvet was very thin, and the extra one I requested took three days to arrive. I had a wonderful scrub and massage at the spa, but the rest of that experience was a letdown. I arrived at 2.30 for a 3pm appointment and asked for a small snack. The cafe never took my order, even though the spa receptionist told them I wanted something to eat, so after 20 minutes I gave up. A woman I believe was the spa manager heard me explain this to the male receptionist and kindly asked him to get me a croissant. That never arrived either.

Arya made check-in warm and welcoming, and when our booked room wasn’t available, he upgraded us to a fantastic Club Room. The room stayed spotless and in great condition throughout our six nights at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, celebrating my mother’s upcoming 75th birthday. Anil from housekeeping on the 22nd floor kept it pristine and regularly checked whether we needed anything. The Club Lounge had excellent food and service, and the staff made sure we were happy. They also arranged a birthday cake, a very kind touch. The whole stay felt seamless, and we’ll choose Taj Lands End again on a future Mumbai trip.

The peaceful, premium feel of Taj Lands End made it a lovely place to unwind. Our room was spacious, clean, and luxurious, and the breakfast had a huge range of tasty options. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive, warm, and professional. The sea-facing views were breathtaking, especially at sunset. One of my best hotel stays in Mumbai, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

Aastha Swarangi Ashwini from Guest Relations made our anniversary and babymoon at Taj Lands End so memorable. She arranged a thoughtful room upgrade and beautiful decorations for both occasions, taking care of every detail with warmth and professionalism. Thanks to her and her team, we felt looked after and valued throughout. The food was delicious, and the service and luxurious comfort made this a wonderful place to celebrate such important milestones. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and we’re deeply grateful to Aastha and her team.

The Taj Club Lounge felt like a place to make connections, thanks to Suryansh and his engaging conversation, along with the attentive, naturally hospitable Rajiv, Veer, and Abhishek. At Ming Yang, Asawari and Romit knew the menu inside out and recommended some exceptional dishes. Abdul at the salon was skilled, professional, and welcoming, and a real asset to the Taj team. Sakshi made our welcome special, with helpful advice and insider tips on shopping and places to visit around Mumbai. At reception, Momin was calm, professional, and efficient, making everything easy. From our arrival onward, the warmth carried through our memorable stay at Taj Lands End, Bandra.
