The Residence

The pool is well kept and completely chlorine free, and the gym is really good. The Residence also has top notch rooms and friendly, well-mannered staff, so it’s a must stay. I can’t find a complaint about the food either. By its standards, the hotel goes out of its way to deliver what you might even call a 10 star experience.

We couldn’t even stay one night. The corridors smelled foul, the bedspreads were torn, and the rooms smelled of cigar smoke. The place wasn’t clean, and hygiene in the rooms wasn’t maintained. The food was OK, but that didn’t make up for it. The lift closed before I could get in, and I personally got caught between the doors twice. Someone had to come rescue me. They charge close to five star prices for a very poor stay.

Mutton Stew was the best thing on the buffet, with good flavor and soft, tender meat. It’s a good dinner spot if you want to try a lot of different things. Veg and Non Veg starters are brought straight from the kitchen, and the staff were friendly, helpful, quick, and efficient. They should add beverages to the buffet.

The food was a delight at every meal, and we had a wonderful time at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Restaurant staff were humble and polite. Room service was always ready to keep things neat and provide the amenities we needed, and housekeeping kept up the same standard. The management and staff at the residency personally made sure guests were comfortable. MR Chetan Rajkat was especially cooperative and always served with a smile, showing no disregard to guests, whether young, old, or teenage. His approach to hotel management is almost perfect, and he can lead the staff toward the results they want. We must again recognize Mr Rajkat’s leadership.
