Eagle Mountain Resort Munnar

Mr. Sellathurai, the caretaker, made a great impression with how responsive and attentive he was. He went out of his way to sort out our needs, and the service was fantastic. The resort also has a warm, inviting atmosphere and elegant decor. The food was exceptionally good, with rich flavors and lovely presentation, although I found the prices a little high. I’d consider coming back for the service and ambiance, while keeping the prices in mind. Kudos to Mr. Sellathurai.

Eagle Mountain made our vacation special. The staff were kind, polite, and on time whenever we needed anything, with very good service. It’s tucked among the forest and a cardamom plantation, away from the city bustle. A peaceful nature setting, and one I’d strongly recommend for a romantic getaway.

The route there is quiet, and the resort feels secluded and peaceful, with incredible views of the surrounding forest. The restaurant food was good.

At checkout they added an extra ₹7,000–₹10,000 to the bill, even though they had quoted a different price initially. When we challenged it, they said the price had changed and that this was the “actual price.” Prices don’t change that drastically in just one or two days. It felt misleading, like cheating customers, and the owner had a very bad attitude when questioned. There are no facilities or activities at this resort (lodge). I strongly advise others not to choose it.
