The forest location and the lack of space in the rooms were already disappointing, but there weren't even basic facilities like a TV, bath towels, or soap. The hotel was unhygienic, and they wouldn't clean the rooms. When we asked the owner lady for anything, she was very rude. There were lots of insects, the hot water wasn't proper, and parking was at the owner's risk. I've visited Munnar many times, and this was my worst hotel experience there. I wouldn't recommend it for families or couples.

A disappointing stay. The room was very small for the price, and the bathroom water facilities weren't proper. They said they'd arrange a campfire and BBQ for us, but there was no campfire.

It's an okay place, nothing special to start with. We got three rooms for seven people for 5000 total, after negotiating as much as we could. They try to get as much cash from you as possible, so be prepared to negotiate. It can work if you just want somewhere to stay overnight, get some rest, and leave.

The nice view point and homemade food were the only positives. Our room was cramped and not worth a penny. Instead of a king-size bed, there were two single cots pushed together, and the management was very rude. They didn't provide pillows for the extra bed or blankets. Think twice before paying, since they collect the full amount at check-in. We had asked for a campfire when booking, and management agreed to arrange it for 4000 for six people in a super deluxe room. It never happened, and they weren't willing to lower the amount. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
