Jungle Jive Tree House Munnar

If you're after a raw jungle experience, the setting delivers: the hotel is deep in the forest, surrounded by trees and forest views. But the rooms were messy and poorly maintained, with a bad smell that never went away. At night, spiders, ants, and even reptiles made it very uncomfortable to stay indoors. The hygiene and cleanliness need serious attention. Food was another downside. There's no kitchen on site, and dinner has to be ordered before 8 pm because it's brought in from outside. Breakfast choices were just a couple of South Indian dishes, and they were average. This only works for someone willing to give up a lot of comfort, cleanliness, and food quality for a jungle stay. I wouldn't recommend more than one night.

We booked for 3 days, but could barely last a few hours. The rooms smelled mouldy and made us feel suffocated and breathless, so we sat on the balcony all night. We couldn't sleep at all after the long drive and left early in the morning. We paid 5K per day and the rooms were 5K, but the facilities were awful. For that charge, they should at least provide basic cleanliness. There was fungal growth on the surfaces. I've never had such a bad experience after paying 5K for a room.

I loved the open space, tea plantation, and all the room to walk around or have a picnic. There's also a swing and cute little pets. If you like being among nature, with lots of space and adorable animals, this place will feel like heaven. It's not for someone after a formal hotel vibe. I hope you come here, it could be one of your best stays.
