The rooms and overall ambiance were quite good for our group of 10, who stayed in February 2025. We had to wait until about 1:30 p.m. to check in instead of the scheduled noon because the previous guests checked out late. There are no fans or AC in the rooms, though Munnar's pleasant climate may mean air conditioning isn't necessary. They can arrange a campfire if you ask. The property is in Munnar's main area, which is convenient, but there are no scenic views.

The garden view from our room was especially lovely, and the whole stay made for a beautiful memory. The resort feels unique, and Munnar itself is such a beautiful place. The staff were warm and happy to help with all our requests.

The scenery and location were perfect, and the rooms were clean with nice service. We had booked two rooms for February. The one disappointment was the wait to check in: we arrived around 9.30AM but couldn't get in until around 1.30PM because the previous guests hadn't checked out on time. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

It's easy to reach, being close to the KSRTC bus depot, and there's hot water available around the clock. The complimentary campfire made the evenings warm and enjoyable. Aswin & Vignesh were attentive and helped make the stay comfortable. A pleasant, convenient place to stay.

Maharaja Cottage is quiet and peaceful, with tea plantations just a two-minute walk away. We had everything we needed, and the room was really clean. There’s also outdoor space to relax and play games, which added to our enjoyment. The owner was super cool and helpful. We really liked staying here and highly recommend it.
