Sceva's Garden Home

The balcony view was amazing, and the sunrise was incredible. Sheeja cooked wonderful Indian food, including what I thought was the best breakfast in all of Kerala. I spent a cozy, calming week there. Benny arranged my airport pickup and a sightseeing tour, and Robin, the taxi driver, clearly cared about making every ride enjoyable. Benny and his family's warm hospitality made me feel at home from the start.

The garden was a lovely part of our stay. Benny and his family tend fruit and vegetables with care, and we had some of their fresh produce in our meals. They made us feel like relatives visiting, not guests at a homestay. The place is peaceful and scenic, with mountain views from its hillside location, and ideal for relaxing. We arrived early on a hartal day, before check-in, but Benny quickly had our rooms ready. Since most restaurants were shut, he and his family kindly served us a complimentary dinner. Breakfast was tasty and thoughtfully made. The wooden rooms were cozy, clean, and beautifully kept. Benny kept in touch from booking onward, checked if we needed travel help, and arranged a comfortable houseboat experience in Alleppey. He also explained local activities, and organized a reliable taxi for nearby attractions. It was a memorable stay, and I'd recommend Sceva’s Garden Home.

Benny's kind, gentle help was the best part. He offered plenty of good advice and was always there for problems big or small, without ever making us feel like a burden. We recommended him to people all over Kerala. His neighbour Robin was an excellent driver too. The homestay sits high above a quiet valley, with breathtaking views from the rooms and a gorgeous pool. Honestly, one of the best places I've stayed.

The room was spacious and spotless, with an incredible view, and the homestay is well placed for visiting Munnar and nearby areas. The owner looked after us warmly from the moment we arrived, guiding us through the stay and sharing great restaurant suggestions and places to explore. He also recommended the best driver we'd had in India. Breakfast was a delight each morning, with a different, tasty spread prepared with care by the owner's wife. We had a wonderful time thanks to the owner's helpfulness, and I'd highly recommend this homestay for an authentic, memorable visit.
