The gala dinner arranged on Christmas Eve really stood out, with music and dance. Food throughout our 2 nights and 3 days was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and offered plenty of variety. We stayed in the Premium Suite, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had top-notch amenities that kept our family comfortable. Sterling Munnar was beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery, and peaceful and refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. It exceeded our expectations and made for a relaxing, joyful vacation. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers seeking a premium stay.

There’s plenty to do here, including rope cycle and role walk, plus treks and jeep rides arranged with local vendors. Book those yourself to get a cheaper cost. In the evenings at 7pm, they host activities such as a DJ and camp fire, so you can have some fun and then head to dinner. The camp fire area is separate and adds beauty and soul to the place. The DJ setup has no 🎤 mic, though, and they just repeat Tamil and Hindi hit songs. Staff could make it more engaging, like at Mahindra Resorts. For meals, take a breakfast and lunch combo. The food is yummy, with a wide spread and live counters, and the staff are always smiling and running around to help. Room service was excellent too. The girl was always smiling and carefully looked after her def and dum colleague, and they cleaned the room regularly. It’s a good resort for family time, with good, spacious rooms, though ours was a normal room. The swimming pool view is good. It’s a nice place to relax and unwind. Don’t miss it, 2 nights stay should do.

I booked a travel service, and the driver made it a bad experience. After taking us to spice garden and earning his commision, he said he couldn’t take us anywhere else because of heavy traffic. We’d come for 2 days, and that wasted one whole day. The hotel said it would waive some portion of can charges, but that didn’t really help. Nobody spoke to us or asked for feedback. We paid more than 11k per room expecting comfort, good service, and a welcoming staff, but the experience was below average. One lift wasn’t working, so we waited 5mins every time we needed it. Most indoor games were locked and unavailable, and the reception area and people felt un-welcoming. Having already visited sterling ooty, our expectations were high. Dinner buffet variety was average, hospitality was ok ok, and no staff made any extra effort. We didn’t even know there was a bonfire until we accidentally explored and found it.

Mr. Tamizh, the Cleaning Supervisor, kept the rooms to excellent cleanliness standards, and Mr. Bishal and Mr. Tejander from the restaurant team took great care of us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food was delicious with good variety. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout. Sterling Munnar sits amid lush greenery, with breathtaking views and a peaceful setting that’s perfect for relaxing. Our stay was wonderful and memorable. I’d planned to extend it but had to leave early for personal reasons. I’m looking forward to returning to Munnar and would choose Sterling again without a second thought. Highly recommended for families and anyone after a relaxing stay.
