The peaceful setting and lovely views make up for being a little away from the main town. The rooms and common areas are organized, and it's a comfortable place to relax or meet other travelers. The property is clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I've stayed at other hostels, including Monkey Tribe and Zostel, and had a much better experience at The Hosteller. It's one of the best places to stay in Munnar. Recommended if you're looking for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

I forgot my charger, and the team helped me charge my power bank. Nikhil even lent me his own charger, which was really kind. Manager Nikhil was friendly and helpful, and everyone made me feel at home. The location, room, and cafe were all great, and the cafe staff were welcoming too. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable stay. 🫶🏻

The bunk beds were comfortable, and the rooms were neat and well kept. The washrooms were spotless too. We had a pleasant, hassle-free stay at The Hosteller and would definitely recommend it.

Food needs a lot of work. The Hosteller network seems to have only a few okay options, and eating the same one or two things every day gets old. Since the restaurant is pure veg, they should at least offer eggs. We had a small hot water issue, but they gave us a heating rod and that worked. The property and rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is amazing, high up and away from town.

Mr. John was a wonderful Stay Manager, and the rooms and facilities were excellent. We also got to join the community event at The Hosteller run by Mr. Nikhil. It would be great to see those events at different properties, since we hadn't had one on previous stays. There were so many lovely moments, and the stay was mesmerizing. One thing that could help is a local support or contact number the day before check-in, with updates on weather and connectivity.
