The Cliff Resort

Newly built beside Deshadan hotel, this place has the same great view and offers luxury rooms plus a small garden where kids can play. I also found it listed at lower prices while offering the same view as Deshadan Hotel. It’s highly recommended for families and couples wanting scenic views of Munnar.

The road up to the resort is dangerous and in poor shape. Still, it’s one of the best resorts in Munnar, with a great balcony view and a very good breakfast. If you have trouble finding it, search for or ask for Desadhan Resort. It’s another resort on the same property.

The staff were so friendly and cooperative, and the service and food were both really good. The view from the resort is amazing too. When my father suddenly became unwell, the staff helped us get the medicine he needed from town, even though it was raining. They said guests were their responsibility, and I was overwhelmed by how they looked after us. Family and friends, do book if you want a great Munnar experience.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cliff Resort, with excellent service, delicious food and remarkable views. Thanks to Abilash and the whole crew for making it memorable. Set at what felt like the highest point in the city, the resort looks out over stunning scenery and has a peaceful jungle setting. Our spacious room was comfortable and meticulously clean, and the rest of the property was also well maintained. Breakfast was complimentary, with an impressive range and quality, and the à la carte dishes were delightful.
