After seeing the Instagram reels, I booked three rooms for two days for ₹28,000. Thank goodness I paid only ₹14,000 in advance, because we left after the first day due to the poor service and unhygienic conditions. The rooms were filthy and hadn’t been properly cleaned or mopped. The towels looked used and unwashed, apparently left by previous guests. One of the three rooms had no hot water, and staff wouldn’t fix it despite repeated requests. We paid for two extra beds but got just one, and follow-ups didn’t get us the other one. In the end, we had to go to reception ourselves for blankets and pillows. The walkways were dirty, and we saw a snake on the path to the rooms. When we reported it, the service team brushed it off as no problem. Food was overpriced and very poor. The pool water was very dirty too, and the restaurant bathroom was awful, worse than the public bus stand toilets. It was a deeply disappointing stay, and I’d never recommend this place.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with tasty, authentic Kerala dishes. Dinner was another story, it seemed average and too oily, so the food could be better. The room itself was good, and the balcony view was amazing. Some charging sockets and night lamps didn’t work and need attention.

This was a terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend the resort to families. There wasn’t any water in the washroom, and once it came on, filling a bucket took more than 20 minutes. The beds and sheets were filthy and covered in hair, and room service was very poor. We had to ask several times for basics like soap and toothbrushes, and there was no drinking water in the room. The food was poor as well. Breakfast was included, but they offered only two items, which wasn’t enough. We’d paid extra for an additional bed in the package, yet the bed they gave us was only 5x6 and too small for a family. The doors also had no proper locks or tower bolts, which left us uneasy sleeping there.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the food was delicious. Wild greenery and misty hills surround this beautiful resort. A peaceful place to relax, highly...
