The owner and manager were helpful, and the rooms were clean, a decent size, and had an attached balcony. There’s hot water throughout the day, but no other room amenities. The location is the main drawback. You have to leave your car at the mandirs parking lot a few steps down the road, which makes getting luggage in and out a struggle. The people at the nearby house, office, and shops weren’t very helpful or understanding about it.
Right in front of Suvarna Ganesh temple and within walking distance of the beach, this is a handy budget place to rest after a day out. Diveagar is a small village where locals have made guesthouses and eateries out of their homes, and this is one of them. The rooms aren’t 3 or 4 star level, but Ajay and the service were pretty decent. They made sure we were comfortable. Decent stay! 👍
The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning and hot water helped make our visit relaxing. Everything was well maintained. The staff were kind and attentive through our stay, and the food had a nice variety of tasty dishes. I had an amazing time at Stayvelle INN in Diveagar, and it felt like good value for money.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone coming to diveagar for an easy, enjoyable stay who values respect and flexibility. The owner was rude and dismissive when I politely asked about the rules, and spoke to me in a condescending, unprofessional way that left me feeling unwelcome. They don’t allow outside food or drinks, and we weren’t told about this when booking. We only found out after bringing our food. The policy felt unreasonable, and the way our concern was handled made the stay frustrating and uncomfortable.
The room was unbearably hot because the air conditioning barely worked, and the Wi-Fi was basically unusable. The staff were rude and unhelpful, even ignoring requests for basic things like clean towels. The sheets were stained, the rooms filthy, and a foul smell never went away. The food was terrible too, with cold, stale meals served every day. Worst experience at Hotel Stayvelle, an absolute disaster from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
