I was staying between trips and went with a non-ac room, so I can’t say how the AC rooms are. They have different room types, and you may be assigned any of them, so don’t count on getting a luxurious one. Mine was clean, the bed clothes were okay, about 3.8 out of 5, and the bathroom gets a 3 from me. It’s a bit old, and there may be some chloride formation on the bucket, tumbler and similar items. The TV didn’t work because the remote had no cell. I can’t speak to family stays, but couples are allowed with ID proofs, physical or digital. They ask for names and basic details like phone number and address, and take one person’s photo as part of their security polices.

There are three beds, which is handy, though the room is quite small. The AC in our first room wasn’t working, but after we switched rooms it was okay.

The rooms are extremely cramped, and ours only had a small wall-mounted fan. There was no hot water in the morning for bathing. They charge a lot but don’t provide even basic services. Think twice before booking this hotel in mysore.
