If all you need is a bed to sleep in, you could go ahead, but I wouldn’t recommend this for a comfortable stay. The hygiene wasn’t satisfactory, and the owners were neither welcoming nor professional. They hadn’t told us in advance that online payments were non-refundable, and when they explained that, they weren’t very polite. I was very disappointed with the hosts. With a little more politeness and proper manners, maybe the other issues could have been overlooked.

Nothing seems properly maintained. The room was full of mosquitoes and different kinds of insects, and the place felt scary. There was no security at all. The service was one of the worst. Highly not recommended for anyone.

The location is on the outskirts, with lots of insects, big spiders and mosquitoes. There were no shops or people around, no street lights, and no drinking water. You couldn’t find food nearby for at least 2-3 km. I kept bringing Bisleri and ordering food online, which came to the rescue. I booked online for four days and paid online, but they wouldn’t let me check in because they wanted cash, something they hadn’t mentioned beforehand. It took 2-3 hours to get confirmation from Oyo about whether my online payment would be refunded. During the whole stay there was no cleaning, towel, soap, moisturizer or hair shower, and the bedsheet was never changed. When I asked them to clean, the caretaker was rude and unprofessional.

Rooms are neat and there are heater facilities and a sit out space, though there’s no TV. It’s beside a lake, about 9 km from Mysore city centre, so you need a vehicle to get there. Shops are further away and there’s no restaurant here, so bring food before you arrive. It’s a good, relaxing space and worth the price.
