Mr. Menon was kind and welcoming, and even offered to get a pedestal fan for the room. The location is excellent, though parking is on the road. The room hadn’t been cleaned after renovation. There was no drinking water or phone in the room, and the furniture had chipped or broken edges. The linen and towels were torn. The restaurant food was good the night we arrived, but lunch the following day was crowded and disappointing. We got undercooked chicken, and all of us got sick. I hope they improve and do well. Mr. Menon is very helpful.

Even when we brought up genuine concerns, nobody listened or tried to resolve them. The owner and staff were arrogant and unprofessional from check-in, and showed no concern for guests or the issues during our stay. Basic hospitality was missing; the staff were careless and indifferent instead of making customers feel welcome. A very disappointing experience, definitely not recommended.

The lodge is easy to reach from both Mysore Palace and the KSRTC bus stop. I booked an executive non-AC room with an extra occupant, and the price was good. The room was nice and the bathroom looked recently renovated and was clean. The only issue was that there was no television, even though it was listed as an executive room.

The room was just an okay size, comfortable for two people. With a third person and an extra bed, there’s hardly any room to move around. It’s a budget place near Mysore Palace, though, and the food was very good. The staff were cooperative and nice, the room and washroom were clean, and they provide essentials like soap and towels.
