Hotel Stay by the Way

I booked here using an OYO gift card, but I don't plan to come back. The hotel quoted 3200 for a day's cab hire, while we found one outside for 2400. Food orders took ages whether we ordered to the room or at the restaurant. Breakfast was disappointing in both taste and quantity, and they even told us we could only take one of each item, despite it being a paid option. The rooms are spacious and airy with good ventilation if you open the windows. There's a restaurant downstairs with a nice night-time ambience, and you can get food and drinks there. The location is easy to spot on the highway, just outside the turn for Infosys. There are much better options at this price, I'm sure.

At this price, the shortcomings were easy enough to overlook. The restaurant is a nice garden spot, though its service was mediocre and the food just decent. Breakfast in the morning was very limited, not a buffet, and staff didn't explain that before charging us extra for second helpings. The rooms don't have a clean, modern look, and the property may be older than it appears. Still, it's good value for the money.

The hotel has a well-kept lawn, a kids' play area, and a nice outdoor dining space. Our room was spacious and good, and the complimentary breakfast was good too. They didn't provide drinking water, though. We had to pick it up at reception and pay separately at checkout.

The front desk staff were courteous and the rooms were good. The restaurant right next to the hotel was another story. Our lunch took half an hour to arrive, and the Chicken Biryani they served was cold and seemed to have been made the day before. They didn't even reheat it. I'd avoid eating there.
