Kumar's White House Hotel

We booked three nights and left after just one. The AC was the only thing that worked. The sheets were itchy, stained, and had other dirt on them, while the washroom wasn't clean and there was hair scattered everywhere. I also found random spiders in the room, and there was no hot water. Disgusting place.

The only thing I can say in its favor is that there's parking outside. The hotel seems suited mainly to people staying alone, not couples or families. On one occasion, there was no water in the washroom, and I had to go to reception twice within 12 hours about it. Room cleanliness doesn't seem to matter much here, and there can be a bad smell as soon as you walk in.

We booked three rooms for the weekend. The restaurant was good and the garden outside looked attractive, and the location was fine. The hotel looks luxurious from outside, but inside one bathroom had no lock, another room had a broken light, and a third had no hot water early in the morning. The old sheets and towels didn't look clean. Service was poor, and they wouldn't negotiate the price. We could get better hotels in the area for less.

The staff don't respond properly, and this was a very bad hotel experience. We paid for an extra bed but were given a partly opened one with the coir showing, so we refused to use it. The washroom door had no lock. The restaurant door was also a problem: it wouldn't lock from inside, and I couldn't open it from inside either. The rooms aren't maintained well.
