Maya's Kings Kourt

We've eaten at the restaurant a couple of times, and the seafood was very good. The overall food quality and the staff were excellent. I can't rate the rooms since we haven't stayed here.

The noise from the bar in the restaurant was a major problem in Room No. 133. It continued until 11 PM even after we told reception, and disturbed us badly, especially our two children. We stayed at Maya’s King Kourt, Mysuru from 15.01.2026 to 16.01.2026, booking Room No. 132 & 133 for six people. At check-in each room had just one bed. Extra beds were promised, but still hadn't arrived after we called to remind them at 9 PM. The sofas were torn and the beds poorly maintained. Room upkeep was also lacking, with no proper mat by the restroom, rusted dustbins, and no night lamp. It was an uncomfortable stay and not worth the money. The management needs to improve maintenance and guest service, especially for families traveling from other states.

The one thing in its favor is the location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the railway station. The building is old and the interiors feel dated. They refused early check-in and asked for an unreasonably high amount to allow it. For the price, the room and service quality don't measure up.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel is very close to the railway station. We had a really nice time as a family. The restaurant food was good and service was quick. Mysore Thindi, India sweet house & Mac Donald are all walkable. If you're driving, there are petrol pumps nearby too.
