4/10
Hot water and Wi-Fi worked well, and the bed linen was good. The location is a little far from the centre, though still manageable. But most room windows had broken latches, which felt like a safety concern, and there was cigarette smell despite it being a non-smoking hotel. The towels were old and worn. The fan was noisy and moved little air, while the AC worked but wouldn’t let us adjust the temperature.

A decent, clean room and a comfortable atmosphere for the night. It suited a short stay on a budget.

The room and location were good, but the balcony sliding door wouldn’t lock. Staff didn’t help carry our luggage, and checkout felt rushed: we arrived at 2.30 the previous day, but on checkout day had to leave by 11. When we were 15 minutes late, they told us we were late and gave us 10 minutes to get out. We had to pack in a hurry. We’d booked free breakfast but didn’t eat it because we went out. I couldn’t leave a review in the Treebo app because the link they sent didn’t come through. Overall, I’d give hospitality and service zero, even though the room and location were good apart from that door lock.

The staff were polite and put in their best effort with breakfast, which was okay. But when we asked them to clear our dinner plates, they didn’t, and by morning the room smelled bad. We stayed for a day, and the room had several problems: the shower room seat was broken, the kettle was dirty, the commode seat was loose and hanging, and the phone cord kept popping out.

The restaurant service was easy and hassle-free, and the staff were welcoming and ready to help. We had a very comfortable stay in a spacious, clean room with all the basics. Great hospitality, and I’d recommend it to family and friends.
