New Milestone Hotel

We booked 11 rooms for 24 hours, and this was the worst experience of my life. The hospitality was very poor, and the staff didn’t know how to treat customers. The food wasn’t hygienic, and the portions were tiny. They didn’t provide even soap, towels, or drinking water. At night, we were disturbed several times. The washroom door didn’t work properly, and I got stuck inside for over 45 minutes last night. The people serving our food especially lacked basic standards.

We’d booked and paid in full through goibibo, but Mysore Mayflower hotel refused to let us in. After a long wait, we were moved to the capital milestone Hotel. The staff there didn’t seem pleased with the amount goibibo had transferred, but they treated us politely and helped us out. Our stay was comfortable, the rooms were huge and clean, and they provided a good complimentary breakfast. We plan to contact this hotel directly next time.

We stayed in a suite. It was huge, furnished well, clean enough, and had a balcony, though the lighting was dim. The hotel sits outside the city in a quiet, sparsely populated area with no city noise, but there are a few industries nearby. The grounds are large, with a well-kept green lawn and small stage, plus a little pool and space for outdoor activities. It isn’t especially posh or cozy, but it’s a good big place. The employees provided good service, and it’s suitable for families and couples. We didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on it. Try booking on OYO for the best deals. One request for management: please give the receptionists a fan, it’s getting really hot this summer!

The beds were the one decent thing here. Otherwise, my stay at the hotel new mile stone was beyond tolerable. It was September and around 23-24°C, and we had to leave for sightseeing at about 5 a.m., but there was no hot water, so I had to bathe in cold water. The bathroom was dirty and moldy, and the pool seemed to be there only in name. When we asked for an extra bed, the room service guy kicked our things around. It cost an extra 500, and was torn on every side and about as poor quality as possible. I called room service three times with requests, and nothing was done. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.
