Roambay Hostels

The beds were comfortable, but my assigned room had no Wi-Fi connection. There’s also no backup power. During my stay the electricity went out in the middle of the night, and it was very hot even though it had rained.

The hostel is in a beautiful, peaceful house, and the rooms are comfortable, well laid out, and have AC. Staff were kind and helpful, and the kitchen is well stocked, though cooking is vegetarian only. The location is okay, with a couple of nice restaurants and cafés nearby. Try The Old House! There aren’t many other places to eat or supermarkets around, though.

A good pick for backpackers. The bathrooms are separate from the rooms, clean, and neat. Rooms are clean and spacious, but the AC is limited, even in an AC room, only part of it gets cool. There aren’t any views. No food is available, and although there’s a kitchen, I didn’t use it.

Even during the New Year rush, the hostel staff helped me get a room. I booked from 2 Jan to 3 Jan and paid 750 in cash, with no extra charge even though I booked on the spot. The railway station is only 5 minutes away by cab or auto. It was a comfortable stay, very clean, and the staff were supportive. Everyone at the hostel was friendly. One of the best stays in mysuru.
