Sunflower Hotel

There’s no food service in the hotel, but Pearl restaurant right next door is top class. You can order there and bring the food to your room. There’s also a grocery store and a medical shop on the ground floor, so you can get all the essentials. It’s very close to Mysore bus stand and feels like a complete package. I’ve stayed here at least five times, and whenever I come to Mysore, Hotel Sunflower is my first choice.

A handy location for a quick getaway, with a pharmacy and supermarket on the ground floor. The rooms look fantastic, and the ambience, decor, and comfort are great. The main issue is that there’s no room service, and all rooms are the same size no matter which one you book. The room and housekeeping staff still need training in courtesy and politeness, though the buffet team were cooperative and good. This place has potential.

A pleasant stay, with friendly staff and a fairly good breakfast. The hotel sits right in the city center, which is an ideal spot for Mysuru Dasara, and you can easily walk to the main sights.

The lift wasn't working, so we had to climb all three floors with our little one. We also found the extra bed pretty costly compared with other hotels. At reception, the staff were very rude. We had an infant and needed just another hour in the room. We were willing to pay, but they said there was no option and told us to leave within minutes, even though several rooms seemed vacant. I wouldn't recommend this place.
