I stayed for five nights last week, and it was a very bad experience. The co-owner was rude, loud, and unpleasant to talk to, and he played loud music in reception, which was really annoying. Parking was very limited, and getting the car out was tricky and took time. The food was expensive, too. The rooms were poorly maintained, with wooden flooring coming loose, cobwebs everywhere, plaster falling off the walls, and a broken toilet seat. The 24-inch TV was an awkward size and position. The bed was advertised as king size, but wasn't even queen size, and the mattress hung over the frame. The shower had a clear, regular-sized glass window, with a plastic curtain hung up carelessly for privacy. They didn't change the bed linens between guests unless you complained and insisted forcefully. During my five nights, the sheet was changed once and the pillowcases weren't changed at all. The housekeeping staff were untrained and unprofessional, and I had to supervise the cleaning myself. Please avoid staying here.

I stayed here last December. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and there was enough parking. But there was no in-house restaurant or room service, so even for tea we had to go to the nearby market. The TV didn't work because the DTH hadn't been recharged. I had checked twice on the OYO app that a room heater was available, but the receptionist said it wasn't once I arrived.

We booked through OYO, but were given a tiny double room even though we'd booked for two, three, or four people. The room price was low, around 700 to 800 rupees, but the food cost about 600 rupees per person. The owner seemed greedy, just trying to make money by selling guests very expensive food. Our bedsheets were dirty, and although we booked an AC room, ours had no AC. The TV didn't work either. When we asked, the owner said there was no dish TV connection at the time. Overall, a pathetic experience.

Really bad, don't come here. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, and the toilet seat was broken. They said there'd be Wi-Fi, but there wasn't. Breakfast was just a cup of tea with bread, and the TV didn't work either. 😧😧👎👎👎👎

There are plenty of ways to get around from here. Buses run frequently to nearby tourist spots like Dharamsala, MacLeod ganj, and palampur, and you can also hire a cab from the taxi stand, about a 3-4 minute walk away. Once you book a room, you can leave your car in the ample parking and not drive. There's also a car cleaning stop nearby. The hotel is near chamunda Devi temple, just 100m from Baroi bus stand. It has a nice front view of chamunda Devi temple and a rear view of the valley of dharamsala.
