The food was good, and I had a lovely time. The decor is the standout: it felt like walking into a museum full of artistic things, with nature woven into it. The whole place has a calm, laid-back feel.

The dishes I tried, especially the Pork Chow Chow, Veg Manchurian, and Egg Hakka Noodles, were enjoyable and full of authentic flavor. Food can take a little while because it's prepared fresh. The courteous, well-mannered staff paid attention to details, which added to the experience. Divine Hima is a thoughtfully designed, peaceful space where art, comfort, and practicality come together. Its aesthetic decor and culturally rich atmosphere make it feel relaxing yet refined, suitable for an intimate dinner or a quiet retreat. I did notice occasional service delays and limited parking, both of which could be improved. Still, it was memorable, with more strengths than drawbacks, and I'd recommend it for the warm hospitality, carefully prepared food, and calm setting.

We spent a week at Divine Hima for our company offsite. The team gave us personalized, good service, and they adjusted the menu for several of us with food restrictions. The food was great, especially the Himachali dishes. And their pickles, with 40 varieties, no kidding, were out of this world. We ate more than we meant to just to have more of them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was great. It was reasonably priced too, so good value. Highly recommend!

Divine Hima was the favorite for all six of us on our Himalayan tour, which included six hotels. It was our first stop, and we stayed four nights, making it a great start for the group members visiting India for the first time. Sidhpur is a packed, colorful village, a lively mix of Buddhist, Tibetan, Indian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian cultures and faiths. Traffic, vendors, and visitors to Norbulingka Institute and nearby temples make it classically chaotic. Yet Divine Hima sits peacefully in the middle of it all. It's also close to Dharamsala and major routes to other Himalayan spots, a handy base for day trips. We loved returning to a cocktail or lemon soda on the rooftop terrace, looking straight at the mountains. The entrance felt like stepping into another world, an unexpected contrast to the busy village. The design and atmosphere are enchanting, filled with Himalayan keepsakes and memories collected over the years by the owner, artist, photographer, and poet Sanjay. He has a tranquil, welcoming presence. He, his family, and the staff were engaging and curious without intruding or acting overfamiliar. They looked after us both practically and emotionally. We had five rooms, all different and lovely, with balconies. They were spacious and well appointed. The food was excellent too. Dosas, vegetarian spring rolls, tomato soup, and kinnow juice were group favorites, though we enjoyed everything we tried from the extensive, enchanting menu.

I can't comment on the rooms, only the restaurant. I ordered chicken65, french fries, and Corona beer. The chicken was far too spicy, so I complained. The waiter took it back and brought another serving. I suppose the chef made new gravy and put the chicken pieces back in it. The fries were basic, with ordinary ketchup. I paid 1774 for chicken65, french fries, and 2 beers. It felt like a total waste of money. Go only if you want to see good interior design. Reply to owner: Thanks for taking the time to respond to my review. I appreciate that the waiter replaced the food when I said it was too spicy. That was thoughtful service. I ate the replacement out of courtesy, because I didn't want to waste food or make a scene, and I was hungry since I hadn't eaten all day. I'd thought I'd treat myself for my birthday, but anyway. I was honest about liking the interiors and ambience. The overall experience still didn't meet my expectations. Paying the bill and leaving quietly didn't mean I was satisfied. I just wanted to avoid a confrontation. The manager asked how it was after I'd paid, and I told him plainly, "not good." I left this feedback because I believe in honest reviews. I hope you understand that people may visit once after seeing the photos, but if you want repeat customers, the food needs to be really good.
