La Smart stays

The balcony plants were lovely, and my kid enjoyed the view. Wi-Fi was good, and the smart TV let us log into our own OTT account, though there was no cable connection or built-in subscription. It was an affordable place for a good short stay. Quick public transport isn’t easy to get, since Nagercoil Town station and Vadasery bus stand are a bit far. Hot water was only provided on request for drinking. The nearby hotel had hot water, but it was red and contaminated. I hope they fix this small issue by putting kettles in the rooms.

We left after only two hours. When we arrived, a car and a bike were blocking the entrance, and neither reception nor security responded when we asked them to move the vehicles. They were still there when we checked out, and it ruined the first day of our outing. We’d been told every room had a geyser, but there wasn’t one. They eventually gave us portable heaters, which were terrible, and then brought hot water in buckets collected from other rooms. I strongly recommend families and couples avoid this place. I gave one star because that’s the lowest available. It deserved a negative rating.

The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Ms. Vimala was especially helpful at check-in and check-out. I’d strongly suggest this place. Keep in mind there’s no elevator.

The room was neat and clean, and the Android TV was in good condition. Wi-Fi was available. Service didn’t satisfy me, and there were pillows but no bedsheets.
