Hotel Naggar Delight

We went up to the rooftop early in the morning for the mountain view. The cafe has seating on a few floors, clean washrooms, and friendly staff who handled our customizations well. We tried the Himachal specialty siddu, nicely steamed and served with two dips, and the breakfast platter came with toasted bread, potato mash, fried vegetables, corn, excellent pineapple jam, and energizing kokam juice. The cafe is warmly decorated and has a board listing daily specials. They also sell cakes, pies, tea powders, and some skincare products. Service was good, but I’m taking off a star because it felt expensive, and there’s no private parking. Still a cafe worth trying.

The bakery items here are very good, and the restaurant has appealing scenery from both inside and outside. It’s right beside Naggar castle, with a fruit wine shop across the way where you can try local wines. The ambience is lovely. If you’re staying in Naggar and not eating at Naggar castle, this is a very good place to stay.

The apple juice was refreshing and tasted like it came from an orchard nearby, not like the packaged drinks from big brands. Their cheesecake is among the best I’ve tried, and the apple pie was just as good. I also had Siddu with Ghee and Chutney, which was decent. I had lunch at the cafe and thought the taste and quality were great. Don’t miss it if you’re nearby.

A sweet little cafe with such positive vibes, and the staff were really welcoming. I stopped in for their amazing apple pie and picked up some skincare and their famous achaar too.
