JK Rooms 117 The Majestic Manor

The receptioner's rude manner spoiled the experience before I even saw the room. They answered questions with attitude and made us feel like a nuisance, when basic respect should be the minimum in hospitality. I've travelled around many Indian states and cities, and haven't encountered hotel rules or reception behaviour like this at The Majestic Manor. It also felt as if they took unfair advantage of our situation instead of trying to help professionally. Staff coordination seemed poor, and neither the management nor the service felt trustworthy or guest-friendly. Paying guests deserve decent treatment. Checking into this hotel was one of my worst travel decisions. If you're visiting Nagpur, avoid it.

This was my second stay, and the place feels like a home away from home. The rooms were neat, comfortable, and well maintained, the Wi-Fi was good, and the food was tasty. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety. The polite, friendly staff were always ready to help. I come for business trips, but I think it'd suit family vacations too, and I'd stay here again on visits to Nagpur.

I picked Majestic Munro because it's near the airport, but the comfort and service didn't live up to its “home away from home” tagline. The room was tiny, about 8x8 feet, and felt more like a nest than a hotel room. It got suffocating after a while, and there were lots of mosquitoes. When I raised it at reception, all they said was “There'll be mosquitoes.” The lighting was very dim, almost like a bar. At this price I expected basic comfort and hygiene, so I'm honestly surprised by the high ratings and regret booking it.

The work trip was easy to manage here: check-in was quick, Wi-Fi worked reliably, and my room was tidy. The staff were professional, too. I also found the rooms spacious and the atmosphere peaceful, with good food and impressive housekeeping. I was very satisfied with the comfortable, relaxing stay at Hotel Majestic Manor.
