OYO 10254 Hotel Taha Pride

I arrived with a confirmed booking at Hotel Airport Centre Point, only to be told no room was available and sent to this hotel instead. I've never stayed anywhere this dirty. The linen and towels were appalling; there was no health faucet or toilet tissue, the bathroom mirror was broken, and there was no luggage rack, among other problems. I also saw the waiter who served my lunch laying out doormats with his bare hands. What more can I say?

The bathroom needs more attention to cleaning, and the hotel was below average. The front desk person made check-in frustrating by focusing on insisting I pay in cash, without understanding that we'd had a long day and needed a quick check-in. Checkout was a similar experience. I'm looking for a better option.

The rooms were tiny and smelled bad. Sheets and pillow covers were dirty, bathrooms had standing water, mirrors were broken, and the main doors couldn't be locked from inside. A hinge was the only thing that gave me a little peace of mind. It's beside hotel Pride, off the highway, but the approach is a completely dark mud road at night. After the rain, the mud was wet and got all over my shoes as I walked up. Never book here. The owner's reply sounds automated by OYO, and I don't see any sign he's serious about improving the service.

I was charged wrongly for an extra day even though I checked out early according to the process. I also complained to OYO and got no help. The Wi-Fi wasn't available, the TV didn't work, there was no power backup, the linen was dirty, and there was no food service in or around the hotel. They had no drinking water, either, so you had to pay 40rs for a 20rs MRP bottle. Services listed on OYO's website weren't available or working. Don't trust the ratings, reviews, or hotel photos on the site, as I believe hotel staff themselves posted fake reviews. I wouldn't book here again or recommend it for business, personal, or family stays. Check everything before confirming, or book only if you can't find another option.
