The room itself was decent, but nowhere near worth 4k a night. There was no food, hot water, or AC. The TV had very few channels, all under TLC, and the kettle looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. They provided only one towel per room. Aquaguard water was available outside, but the area around it was filthy and full of mosquitoes. The washroom was bad and had no geyser. We got there at 9 in the morning, but the main entrance was still locked. We had to call the owner, who contacted staff before someone finally came to open it. There’s no lift, so we carried our heavy bags upstairs. The lobby is too small for even three people, and its washroom was disgusting, dirty and full of mosquitoes. There was just one staff member for the entire hotel. Check-in was at noon. We asked about getting one room early so everyone could freshen up. First the staff member said no rooms were available, then five minutes later said it would cost half a room price, 2.2k. We asked him to check with the owner, who said 1200. He reluctantly cleaned a room, then demanded the full balance before check-in, even though we had already paid half for our two rooms. He argued with us for a long time and kept asking for more money, but eventually agreed to the right amount. I can’t tell if he was bad at maths or trying to fool us. Fab hotels are supposed to be a good chain. I have no idea why they chose this property. I’d say don’t go here.

During the Kumbh, I paid Rs 7k for one night, and it wasn’t worth it. They described the room as air-conditioned, but there was no AC. We got no towels or toiletries, no hot water on arrival, and no extra bed when we asked for one. With no other choice during Kumbh Mela, I felt they took advantage of the situation. The room wasn’t worth even 1k a night. I’d give it zero stars if I could, and I’d avoid staying here.

The TV was the only good part. The room was awful overall, with dirty marks all over the walls, poor service, and very bad linen. There were no tea or food options. The bed was so short that it wouldn’t suit even someone 5 ft 6 in tall. Hot water was only available on request, and the tap barely had any water pressure.

At 6000 INR a night, this tiny room is far too expensive. The bed isn’t queen size, and at 5'9" I couldn’t fit on it. It seems suitable only for someone around 5 feet tall. I’d say the room is worth 1000 INR at most.

Rats ran around the room and got into my food and other belongings. Mosquitoes were everywhere, and even the all-out machine couldn’t control them. I spent the entire night awake. I complained to Fab hotel customer care around 5AM in February, but nothing was done. A very poor hotel.
