Corbett Green Retreat Resort

The rooms were roomy and the setting was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the owner also helped us plan our trip. We had a wonderful experience.

With big balconies looking over the central lawn, the rooms were a nice place to sit in the evening. They were spacious and clean, although some wear was visible. The atmosphere was pleasant, and for a budget stay it’s a decent option. Staff were especially attentive and ready to help, and management was willing to accommodate requests. The resort has a large campus with room to walk around and enjoy the recreation area. It’s about 45 minutes from Phato eco zone. Breakfast and dinner were good, with a decent range of dishes. The evening tea was a nice addition, with pakoras, cookies, and tea and coffee one day, then Aloo bindas the next. The à la carte food was tasty and portions were decent too.

I had a good time here on my first stay at the property. The location worked well for us, just 3 km from the famous Hanuman dham temple. There are also cafes nearby, and you can enjoy waterfalls. The buffet had plenty of choices and the meals were delicious. The staff, including Anil ji, Pratap ji and Vijay, were cooperative.

We booked Corbett Green Retreat Resorts for two nights, and it was one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The rooms were filthy, with torn sheets and curtains, dirty towels, and poor toiletries. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with no hospitality to speak of. As soon as we arrived, they demanded the remaining payment and said they wouldn’t assign rooms until it was paid in full. Very unprofessional. The resort calls itself 4-star, but I wouldn’t give it even one star. The ambience and dining area were both poor. They even charged by the hour for TV channels, apparently to cut costs. Hot water ran out in 5-10 minutes because each room had only a 25-litre geyser. There was no proper way to heat the rooms.
