The camp felt like a ghost site when my family and I arrived an hour later than the time I’d given the owner. There was just one staff member there, and they knew nothing about our arrival. The owner hadn’t asked for an advance payment, then said we had no booking and only a verbal confirmation. It was the worst decision I’ve made. Never trust this property.

You stay in a tent with a private washroom, so it feels like proper camping, and the activities and trekking follow a set schedule. Everything was included for Rs.1200/person. The place is beautiful and the food is great. You do have to drive 1-3 km off road, but it’s worth the fun.

We booked two days but left after just one night, and they offered no refund as a gesture of hospitality. Service was very poor. Staff asked for a peg of whisky for each service, there was no water in the bathroom, and the food arrived cold. They were rude, and whether you got a bonfire depended on what the staff wanted. They refused us one, then gave one to the neighbouring cottage at 11 pm. Not even worth one star.

A lovely campsite with the basic amenities in place, and a great spot to visit with friends or family. The staff were really helpful, and the food quality was commendable for the price.

It was calm and serene, without much of a crowd. We had a really good time and received warm service. Since we visited during monsoon, we couldn’t do any adventure activities, but one of the staff took us trekking.
