The location is superb, but keep in mind that the tall pine trees block the sun and it gets very cold in winter. We visited in mid December, and it was very, very cold inside. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom was awkward to use. I don’t know why they put the toilet hand shower 1 mtr away on the left side. Try to get the Jim Corbett bunglow just beneath the main complex.
Mukteshwar Temple is only about 200 meters away, which is very convenient for visitors. Staff were cooperative and behaved very well, making the stay more comfortable. The room was small, though the toilet was comparatively spacious. We were on the 2nd floor, and climbing up could be difficult, especially for senior citizens. Aside from the compact room and access issue, the experience was satisfactory.
The location near Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple is excellent. We booked a 4 bed room for one night, and breakfast and dinner were included. The room was comfortable, clean, and had good room service; both meals were delicious. For panoramic Himalayan views, you need to walk to the JD Corbett bungalow across from the main hotel, which is part of the property. On a clear day its view is amazing, though staying there is very expensive. The main hotel is much more reasonable. There are 20-30 steps from reception or the restaurant to the room, but they’re well laid out and have a good railing. It’s a decent place to spend a day or two. It gets very cold on winter nights, so bring enough warm clothes.
The staff greeted us with smiles, and a few of the rooms have some of the best views. It isn’t very luxurious, but if you want to stay near zero point and mukteshwar mahadev in Mukteshwar, this place could suit you. I’d stay here again if I return to Mukteshwar.
We stayed here on 18 feb 2026 for our anniversary, and it was really worth it. The view was breathtaking, and the room was neat and clean, with basic necessities like a geyser, heater, and tea kettle. The staff were very helpful. They even helped me get a cake from 6 km away and decorated for our anniversary. Thank you so much, mr mehta, for all the help.
